The Ballista is a stock Jupiter Arms Artillery Cruiser, captained by Shiphead Kong until its capture by raiders on Ceres.
Lore[]
The Ballista is the Jupiter Arms take on the traditional Artillery Cruiser, fitted with long range air-to-air capabilities to empower you to take out near-the-horizon threats with precision. This stock Artillery Cruiser was first flown under the command of Jupiter Arms’ Shiphead Kong. After commandeering a faster vessel during intense fighting around Mars, Kong set the Ballista adrift in the asteroid belt, where it was picked up by scavengers on Ceres.
The Ballista is engineered for destruction. Clad in thick, bulky armor, it has a primary weapon that can breach the hull of any vessel. But despite such offensive potency, this ship moves slow—and reloads even slower.
